The Sayona

Inktober 2018 - Venezuelan Myths. Drawing number 10. The Sayona, named for the white saya dress she wears, is a seductive yet terrifying white lady ghost. Survivors describe her as a beautiful, provocative woman who lures men, only to transform into a horrific skeleton in torn clothes. She can emit a deafening cry, often driving her victims to death or madness.
