The Ghost of the Nurse
Inktober 2018 - Venezuelan Myths. Drawing number 19. Long ago, Pura Vizcaya, a devoted nurse in Venezuela, cared deeply for all her patients. After her death, her spirit is said to linger in the hospital where she worked, visiting and caring for gravely ill patients at night until they recover.

Inktober 2018 - Venezuelan Myths. Drawing number 24. This is one of the most popular Venezuelan myths. A horrible spectre which can be spotted roaming through the plains. He is known as El Silbón (meaning the man who whistles), due to his most bizarre characteristic: he produces a chilling whistling sound, and if it's heard nearby it denotes that he is far away, and if on the contrary it is heard far away it's a signal that El Silbón is very near.
