The Enchanted Pond
Inktober 2018 - Venezuelan Myths. Drawing number 12. In Henri Pittier National Park, Maracay, Venezuela, a beautiful yet enchanted pond is said to swirl its waters at night. After the swirling stops, two caskets—one blue, one yellow—emerge from the bottom. Anyone who touches them is trapped and pulled to the depths, never to be seen again.

Inktober 2018 - Venezuelan Myths. Drawing number 24. This is one of the most popular Venezuelan myths. A horrible spectre which can be spotted roaming through the plains. He is known as El Silbón (meaning the man who whistles), due to his most bizarre characteristic: he produces a chilling whistling sound, and if it's heard nearby it denotes that he is far away, and if on the contrary it is heard far away it's a signal that El Silbón is very near.
