The Hydra of the Orinoco River

Inktober 2018 - Venezuelan Myths. Drawing number 4. People from Ciudad Bolívar say that the Orinoco River hides a system of caves and tunnels that extend endlessly beneath the city, where a giant, seven-headed hydra dwells. Many claim to have seen it, and in 1988, a local newspaper published what they assert are photos of the creature.
